Complaint :
Patient from Republic of Iraq visited us with a complaint of back pain radiating towards leg from last 2 years.
Diagnosis:
On detail examination with the help of MRI patient was diagnosed with sever compression at L4-L5 level.
Treatment:
After detail discussion, we planned for Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion (TLIF) Surgery for this patient. TLIF is a procedure where the surgeon accesses the spine to treat spinal instability or weakness by permanently uniting bones of the lower spine with the help of pedicle screws and rods along with cage if required.
Post Care Treatment
With a success of 99% TLIF surgery is developing a way of treating numerous lower spinal conditions like degenerative disc disease, herniated discs or Spondylolisthesis.
